Macabre Review

I read through the book in one evening. The stories all had great starts. They pulled you right in and allowed the story to carry you in deeper. I enjoyed the different time frames and settings for each story. They all took different paths and had such unpredictable, but super endings. The best story I found was Benvenuto The Count. The time line of a vampire is just unimaginable to humans, so to know the craze this vampire was in by the end was almost descriptive enough to relate! I have passed this book on to my girls who are very interested in the "vampire" theme these days, and both have commented that they like the stories. I'm sure they haven't read them all, but the fire has definitely been lit...
